Pancreas
Inspired by diabetes advocates and legislators, researchers report on the progress in terms of development of an artificial Pancreas for people with type 1 diabetes. Probably not the first time, I have not heard. For more than three decades have engaging researchers, without success, to develop an artificial Pancreas. If the name that reminds one of the people caused the organ in the body of the patient, think again. The artificial Pancreas is actually an automated, closed system consisting of a continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump and blood glucose meter for monitor calibration. Read more
